I am reading Eldest by Christopher Paolini, I predict that Eragon will be attacked by a Du Welenvarden dweller, or get in a fight with a elf. I wonder what will happen in this chapter "The Dagshelgor Invocation". Will Eragon get to Ellesmara in this chapter? No, he gets close to Silthrim.
Why was the river that Eragon had encountered getting bigger and deeper? Was it elven magic? It was elven magic, because of Dagshelgor.
I had trouble with the word Reluctantly in the sentence "Eragon hugged her neck-careful to avoid the sharp spines- and then relucantly departed, glancing backward.
I figured relucantly meant you did it but you really didn't want to. I infer Eragon likes Arya. What does "The wrym has bitten its own tail" mean? I think its a trap or something, but im not sure.

Dear Chase,
ReplyDeleteYour posts are getting better. You are adding in some good thinking, but I want you to include a bit more detail. For instance, when you said "I infer Eragon likes Arya" what do you mean by that, how do you know? Also, your question was great and you answered it very simply. You said "It was elven magic, because of Dagshelgor" Who or what is Dagshelgor? I don't want to EVERYTHING about your book, but I need you to tell me enough to be able to understand your answers. When you write your posts, keep in mind that your reader has never read the book!
